Book reviews by Black & White Inc. book club

Firstly, my humble apologies to Alex for taking a while to type up your book review, but now that Clifford and the travelling book fair has left town, I can attend to the important business of getting your lovely review online for all to see!

The Dare Game - by Jaqueline Wilson

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have no real home? Meet Tracy Beaker, a stubborn little girl with a fierce attitude. She was put into a children's home. (Tracy knows it as "the dumping ground") by her mum because she was too busy acting in Hollywood to look after her. Everyone is awful to this new girl, but one day, out of the blue, she gets adopted. She is overjoyed with her new foster mum. But not everything goes as planned ...

Join Tracy, football, Alexander, Cam and Carly on an adventure throughout her newest book. But when football and Tracy get into a fight, what happens to Alexander? Find out by reading this awesome book! And will Tracy ever see her beloved mum again? This chapter book about Tracy Beaker is one of Jaqueline Wilson's best novels yet. I recommend this book for girls, but boys would enjoy it too.
